These Terms define the rights and obligations governing the IT services provided by Roger Gnanih (hereinafter "the Provider") to his business, company and startup clients (hereinafter "the Client").
The services mainly cover:
- Web & Backend Development: Custom architectures (Laravel, PHP 8, REST APIs, microservices, payment gateway integration).
- Mobile Development: High-performance iOS and Android apps (Flutter / Dart, Kotlin).
- Cybersecurity & DevSecOps: Application penetration testing (Web & API following the OWASP standard), source code audits, Linux infrastructure hardening and secure CI/CD pipelines.
- Consulting & Optimisation: Legacy code refactoring, performance audits and technical debt reduction.
Every engagement is preceded by a technical scoping phase and a detailed commercial proposal or costed quote specifying the scope, expected deliverables, validation milestones and indicative schedule.
Written approval of the quote (electronic signature, email confirmation or deposit payment) constitutes full and complete acceptance of these contractual terms.
The Provider is bound by an enhanced best-efforts obligation. Development follows strict industry standards (Clean Code, SOLID, automated tests, clear documentation).
Work is carried out using an Agile method with regular checkpoints (functional demos, versioned commits on a private Git repository). Agreed timelines are met, provided the Client supplies the required technical elements, API access and approvals in good time.
Delivery warranty: Every software project delivered includes a 30-calendar-day corrective warranty covering the free correction of any defect or non-compliance with the initial specifications.
Given his cybersecurity expertise, the Provider follows a strict confidentiality policy. All information, source code, databases, architectures, financial or strategic data shared by the Client are deemed strictly confidential.
No client data is kept beyond the end of the engagement without prior agreement, and staging or audit environments are securely purged once the service is complete. A specific non-disclosure agreement (NDA) can be co-signed at the Client's first request.
Upon full payment of the agreed amounts for the service, the Client becomes the exclusive owner of all specific developments, scripts, designs and deliverables created on its behalf.
The Provider retains ownership of his pre-existing generic components, methodologies and standard open-source tools integrated into the project, for which he grants the Client a perpetual, free and worldwide licence of use.
Unless otherwise stated in writing, the Provider reserves the right to cite the work, anonymised or showcased, as part of his professional references (portfolio).
Prices are expressed in the currency agreed on the quote (EUR, USD or XOF / FCFA). Unless expressly stated otherwise:
- A kick-off deposit of 30% to 50% is required before work begins.
- The balance is payable upon acceptance of the final deliverables and before final production deployment.
- Accepted payment methods: international bank transfer (SEPA / SWIFT), secure online payment gateways or secure Mobile Money for the West Africa region.
