WIDYCard is a personal safety app for the Beninese and West African market, built around the message "Someone is looking out for you". Each user builds a circle of protectors who can step in when needed.
An SOS alert can be triggered from the mobile app, from a connected wristband or from a public page. Protectors are notified by push notification and SMS, and an emergency dashboard shows the situation in real time, with built-in messaging.
The Problem
In case of illness, assault or accident, loved ones often do not know that someone needs help, or where they are.
The Solution
A mobile app, a web dashboard and a real-time API that send the alert and the location to the circle of protectors, including from an IoT wristband.
The Result
An alert triggered with a single gesture reaches the right people along with the location, while the dashboard follows the situation.
