You install WaziScope once on your phone, then it appears in the share menu: from any app, a tap on "Share" sends the link to WaziScope, which fetches the video.
The architecture separates three layers: an installable Vue 3 interface, a Laravel 13 gateway that relays downloads, and a Python extractor (FastAPI with yt-dlp and custom extractors per platform). The project is public on GitHub, with an online demo.
The Problem
Downloading a video from a mobile app means copying links to dubious, ad-filled websites.
The Solution
A PWA that plugs into the phone's "Share" menu, a gateway that relays downloads and one extractor per platform, with a download history.
The Result
A download takes one gesture from the app where the video was found, without going through a third-party site.
