The Virtual AF OT Summit took place from 1 to 4 September 2026: three days of hands-on training in operational technology (OT/ICS) security, followed by a day of conferences.
The public site presents the program, the goals, the program committee and sponsorship. Each call to action (expression of interest, speaker or training proposal) feeds a PostgreSQL database that can be browsed from a custom-built admin dashboard.
The Problem
Organizing a pan-African virtual event means collecting interest, speaker proposals and sponsorships without multiplying tools.
The Solution
A Laravel event site with forms connected to a database, emails sent through a queue and an admin dashboard.
The Result
The organizing team centralized expressions of interest, proposals and sponsorships in a single tool.
