Iservices Africa offers cybersecurity, IT infrastructure and digital transformation across the continent. Its platform, previously built on Django and two separate Vue projects, was rewritten as a single Laravel backend and a Next.js frontend.
A single Next.js project hosts the public site, server-rendered for SEO, and the staff-only admin console, protected by role checks on both the interface and the API. A GitLab pipeline runs code security analysis and secret detection on every change. The project was delivered in collaboration with a team.
The Problem
The old platform spread the site and the administration across several separate projects, which were heavier to maintain and evolve.
The Solution
A single Laravel backend (REST API with Sanctum) and a Next.js frontend that serves both the public site and the admin console, with continuous integration that checks security.
The Result
A platform that is easier to maintain, a better-ranked site and role-protected administration.
