The platform manages the entire lifecycle of an AfricaCERT membership: expression of interest form, validation by a sponsor, review by the secretariat, then admission. It is connected to the AF-ISAC's MISP instance and to the community's Mattermost workspace.
The backend is a Laravel API and the interface is a React TypeScript application, deployed together on the production server. The public site presents the forum, its member teams and its countries.
The Problem
Processing membership requests with sponsorship, review and admission through message exchanges is slow and hard for a secretariat to follow.
The Solution
An online journey that tracks each application step by step, with a role for each party (applicant, sponsor, secretariat) and automatic access provisioning on MISP and Mattermost.
The Result
The secretariat follows all requests in one place, and new members get their access without manual handling.
